The Talent Studios places Chief Operating Officer at Magic Spoon
The Talent Studios has placed David Yarmoff as Chief Operating Officer of Magic Spoon, the cutting-edge, high-protein cereal with category-leading product innovation and a deep understanding of the 21st century consumer.
Founded in 2018 by Gabi Lewis and Greg Sewitz, Magic Spoon has built a cult following by transforming nostalgic, Saturday-morning-cartoon cereal into a guilt-free, high-protein treat. Since its launch, the company has successfully scaled from a direct-to-consumer digital powerhouse into a major national retail presence (Target, Walmart, Kroger, Albertson’s, and Whole Foods).
Yarmoff is a seasoned operator with three decades of experience driving massive value and navigating high-profile exits in the consumer goods space. Most recently, he served as COO at Health-Ade Kombucha, where last fall, he helped lead the organization to a successful exit to Generous Brands. His track record of driving growth and profitability includes serving as SVP of Operations at L-Catterton-backed Cholula Food Company, where he scaled growth and helped achieve a successful exit to McCormick & Company Inc. in 2020. Yarmoff’s earlier career included strategic leadership roles at Cadbury Schweppes and the Snapple Beverage Group.
In his new role as COO, Yarmoff will oversee Magic Spoon’s holistic operational strategy, global supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics infrastructure. He will partner closely with the co-founders to institutionalize operational excellence, driving the efficiency required to support Magic Spoon’s aggressive expansion across retail channels and new product categories.
