The Talent Studios Completes CMO Search for Chris McMillan Hair, Placing Former Olaplex CMO in advance of Sephora Launch
The Talent Studios has placed Tyler Krebs as Chief Marketing Officer at Chris McMillan Hair, whose debut collection recently launched in SEPHORA. The brand’s namesake is the iconic celebrity stylist best known for creating “The Rachel,” hair hairstyle for Jennifer Aniston during her time on Friends. The seven-piece product collection is based on four decades of behind-the-chair expertise and bridging professional know-how with everyday styling.
Krebs is a seasoned brand and growth leader across prestige beauty and consumer brands, with leadership roles at Olaplex, DrnxMyth, CALECIM Professional, RevitaLash Cosmetics, Unwash, and earlier strategy work with Deloitte and AppScale. He brings a proven track record in product development, omnichannel brand building, digital/performance marketing, and retail expansion across professional, specialty, and DTC channels.
In his role as CMO, Krebs will direct Chris McMillan’s brand strategy and 360° marketing—spanning creative development, retail/trade activation, content and influencer programs, and data-driven performance across channels. He will partner closely with the founder to translate a distinctive creative vision into scalable, consumer-loved campaigns, build a high-performing marketing organization, and drive sustained growth across retail, wholesale, professional, and e-commerce.
The executive search was led by TTS’s Heather Porter and E.K. Goebell, partnering closely with the company’s investors and founders to define the success profile and secure the right leader for this pivotal stage of growth.
