The Talent Studios is proud to announce the placement of Lauren Start as Chief Marketing Officer of NuTrail, an emerging leader in the premium, nut‑based granola category.
NuTrail is redefining granola with clean, high‑quality ingredients and bold innovation. The brand is backed by EagleTree Capital, a private equity firm with over 30 years of experience investing in middle-market businesses across the consumer, business services, and industrial sectors.
Lauren is a seasoned food industry marketing executive who has built high-performing, better‑for‑you brands in private equity–backed and high-growth environments. Her career spans leadership roles at Rudi’s Organic Bakery, Lily’s Sweets, Good Culture, and Danone, among others. She has a strong mix of brand development, product innovation, category expansion, and consumer marketing experience, well-suited to lead NuTrail through its next phase of brand evolution.
In her role as CMO, Lauren will direct NuTrail’s brand strategy, consumer marketing initiatives, innovation roadmap, and go-to-market execution. Her focus will be on increasing household penetration, deepening consumer loyalty, and driving seamless omni-channel growth.
The executive search was led by Serena Smith, Gretchen Koch, and Jeremy Cohen of The Talent Studios, working closely with NuTrail’s CEO, Sheila Stanziale, to identify the ideal candidate for this pivotal role. The process combined deep market mapping, rigorous evaluation, and cultural alignment to secure a leader capable of transforming momentum into scale.
