The Talent Studios Hosts L Catterton at Hunt Scanlon Media’s Return on Talent Event

Last Thursday, The Talent Studios had the opportunity to host Jillian Gilloran, of L Catterton, at the Hunt Scanlon Media’s “Return on Talent – Building Teams That Outperform” event to discuss what we called 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲.

A few themes stood out:
• Candidates are conducting deeper diligence before the first conversation ever happens, leading us to become chief storytellers who contextualize the data before candidates use it as a reason to pass.
• The Sovereign Candidate is real. Mid-career executives are weighing family stability, lifestyle, and risk far more heavily in decision-making than they did pre-COVID.
• Equity cynicism has eroded the old playbook. The traditional equity narrative no longer carries the same automatic pull it once did.

What’s working:
• Radical transparency.
• Clarity.
• Tailoring the platform pitch to who’s sitting across the table.
